Kate Heiss by Jehane Ltd.
Kate Heiss is a contemporary British Printmaker who creates limited edition screen prints and linocuts on paper. Kate studied at the Royal College of Art graduating with an MA in Textile Design in 1997. She then worked as a Textile Designer across a wide range of fashion brands before setting up her own Printmaking Studio in 2011. Kate creates dynamic, vibrant, illustrative prints that are inspired by her love of nature. She draws inspiration from the flowers and birds in her garden, the landscapes of East Anglia and her love of bold, colourful floral patterns found in textiles. Her work is handmade in her studio in Hertfordshire and is regularly exhibited across the UK.Kate works in a variety of techniques including Linocut, Screenprint, Chine Collé, Collagraph, and Collage. All Kate‘s work is on paper.
